These are photos of the narrow gauge (3') of the steam engine Eureka. Buit in 1875, this engine was faithfully, and lovingly restored by it's owner over several years, after being recovered from a disastrous fire in Las Vegas many years ago. The engine served the Eureka and Palisades RR from the time it was buit until 1896. It was sold to another railroad, then in 1938 to the movie industry where it served many years portraying many locomotives in many movies. Sold to a small amusement park in Nevada where it almost met it's demise in a fire that destroyed the park.
