Making Photography more than a hobby or family shots.
Do you aspire to being more than a photo hobbyist or just taking shots of the family?
Your first and best approach is to take pictures, lots of pictures. Since the advent of the digital camera, photographers are able to shoot thousands of shots in a single day. Well most won't shoot thousands of frames like a sports photographer, but the more photos you take, the better you will become. Even pictures of the family dog help improve your abilities; photos of your flower or herbal growing will help your photography, and provide information about all of those herbs.
You need four major items:
1. A computer + a photo program similar to Adobe (TM) Photoshop Elements;
2. A camera that you can adjust the shutter speed, f/stop and ISO;
3. A tripod;
4. A willingness to experiment, and delete your worst photos.
Yes, you will have to be critical of your shots, delete photos of your thumb and feet, and more.
I will write again on this subject soon, so stay around.
